Concerning personal data we process

MTM Association Benelux processes personal data about you, as you use our services and/or because you choose to provide it to us.

Below is an overview of the personal data that we process:
– First and last name
– Gender
– Date of birth
– Place of birth
– Address information
– Phone number
– E-mail address
– Location information

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect information about website visitors who are younger than 16 years. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is over the age of 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children; to prevent data to be collected about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we did collect personal information about a minor without permission, please contact us at jva@mtmbenelux.eu and we will delete this information.

Why we need data
MTM Association Benelux processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– To handle your payment
– To inform you about changes in our services and products
– To offer you the opportunity to create an account (not active yet)
– MTM Association Benelux also processes personal data, if we are obliged legally to do, such as
data that we need for the tax declaration.

How long we keep data
MTM Association Benelux will keep your personal information no longer than strictly necessary to realise the goals for which your information is collected. Our retention period(s) are:
– for courses 10 years
– for conferences 5 years
– for the remainder data 7 years

Share with others
MTM Association Benelux provides only to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. Offered platform: We only provide mail addresses to other MTM users, if the concerning person approves.

Looking at, modify, or delete data
You have the right to see, modify or delete your personal information. You can send a request for access, correction or removal to jva@mtmbenelux.eu. To ensure that the request for inspection is done by you, we will ask you to send a copy of your ID card with the request. We ask you to cover your photo and citizen service number in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. MTM Association Benelux will as fast as possible, but within four weeks, respond to your request.

Security
MTM Association Benelux takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, to prevent unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there is evidence of abuse, please contact jva@mtmbenelux.eu. MTM Association Benelux has taken the following measures to protect your personal information:
– Security software such as a virus scanner and firewall.
– DKIM, SPF and DMARC are three internet standards that we  use  to  prevent  you to  receive e-mails that contain viruses, spam or means to get personal (login) data.
– DNSSEC is an extra security (in addition to DNS) to resolve a domain name
(#company_website) to its associated IP address (server name); It will be provided with a digital signature. You  can  check  that  signature  automatically.  This way  we  prevent  you  for  being redirected to a false IP address.
