MTM Association Benelux

The general function of the MTM Association is to promote the proper use of MTM in all possible applications, special by monitoring training and examinations, in particular in the Benelux..

The MTM Association is an association under the auspices of the association with jurisdiction VOA (Vereniging voor bedrijfskunde), that owns the word and image of MTM for the Benelux countries. The MTM Association manages the VOA the rights and obligations of the MTM brand and manage independently the MTM-systems, the course material and other MTM material. 

History
The MTM Association Benelux is a continuation of the Belgian and Dutch MTM Association. The latter is arised from the MTM-Fellowship. This Institute was one of the founding members of the International MTM Directorate (IMD).
From the beginning, the Belgian and Dutch MTM Association have been a member of the IMD. Due to financial reasons, for a few years no longer.

Methods-Time Measurement

The Methods-Time Measurement is a method for the analyses of work processes (human labour). These working (time) study technique is in the "systems based on predefined times" (PMTS), also known as predetermined times. .

Originally the American Frank Bunker Gilbreth was concerned with the theme of human motion processes around 1910. Later, this has resulted in MTM. In the Netherlands was the first course in 1950.
